At Beyond Beauty Women's Empowerment (BBWE), our mission is to transform the lives of teenage girls in foster care by providing comprehensive education in personal finance, fostering financial independence, and building confidence. We believe in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty and create a future where every young woman has the opportunity to achieve her fullest potential.

By empowering these young women with financial literacy, we aim to create a generation of confident, self-sufficient individuals who can navigate the complexities of the financial world with competence and assurance.

Our Goals

1. Financial Literacy Education: To provide high-quality, engaging educational programs that teach essential financial skills, including budgeting, saving, investing, and managing bank accounts. Our curriculum is designed to be accessible and relevant, ensuring that our students can apply what they learn to their everyday lives.

2. Support and Resources: To offer ongoing support and resources to our students, helping them to implement and sustain their financial knowledge. This includes access to mentors, educational materials, and workshops that reinforce their learning and address their specific needs.

3. Building Confidence and Independence: To foster an environment where young women can develop the confidence and independence necessary to take control of their financial futures. We strive to empower our students by providing them with the tools and encouragement they need to make informed financial decisions.

4. Community Engagement and Advocacy: To engage with the wider community and advocate for policies and practices that support the financial empowerment of young women in foster care. We believe that by working together, we can create a more equitable and supportive environment for all.

5. Holistic Development: To address the broader needs of our students by providing access to clothing, educational enrichment in arts, music, and sports, and other essential services. We recognize that financial education is one part of a holistic approach to empowerment and personal development.
